Sometimes a PAUSE in our life is simply a REFUELING and a CONSERVING. We sometimes think it’s the enemy delaying us, but sometimes divine disruptions are for a purpose and the Lord is doing something in us. And say it is a delay, God turns things for good. He promises this to us in Genesis 50:20, when Joseph tells his brothers, “As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring about these present results, to keep many people alive.” It might not be to this extreme, of life and death in our lives, but God is moving even when you don’t see it or feel it, especially if you are partnering with Him. If you are in a PAUSE right now, do not be dismayed. Ask the Lord, why am I here in this place, Lord? What are you doing in me that I need to be aware of? Sometimes we forget to ask Him questions. But He says ASK, SEEK, and KNOCK for a reason. A PAUSE is not a complete stop, it’s a “linger for a time” of REST. He wants to guide us, lead us and direct us. That is what a good Shepherd does. He might just be waiting for you to ASK, SEEK and LISTEN. Even plants enter a dormant state (like winter) to conserve energy and survive harsh conditions, before resuming growth in favorable seasons. Animals have a phenomenon called diapause, where fertilized embryos temporarily pause their development until conditions are optional for implantation and birth. Insects can undergo a pupal stage, a period of inactivity and transformation, emerging into maturity. Even business owners can tell you, sometimes businesses need to pause, or scale back operations to consolidate resources, re-evaluate strategies, or prepare for a larger-scale growth phase. Your PAUSE is temporary. Your season of rapid growth is coming. A birthing is coming to you. Ask the Lord to show you and He will. Spring is near!
