I dreamed that I was riding this black horse and it was an enormous, gorgeous, beautiful, powerful horse. I was riding it down a street but it was dark and I don’t remember the details around me. I saw a storm in the very near distance, it was pretty close to me because I could see the lightning spreading all across the sky. I was honestly concerned about it coming over the top of me, especially since I was outside riding a horse. So I was running from this storm and as I was running from it, I noticed there was also a man on foot chasing me, not sure what he was chasing me for, and I don’t recall seeing his face. I anxiously continued to nudge the horse with my heels to get him to run quicker. The storm never ended up coming over me and the man never caught me. I never ended up in harm’s way, but at some point in the dream, I’m having a conversation with other people and they’re telling me about how they’ve all had these dreams about riding horses. But the difference between each of them was that each person was on a different colored horse. The only color that stood out to me, besides the one I was on, was a white horse. When I woke up I assumed it was the four horsemen from scripture. An Interesting detail that all these dreamers said was that they were all riding in Southlake. I was riding in the evening and it was at night, so I couldn’t really see where I was located, but for whatever reason, I felt confident in the dream it was Southlake also. It was like we had all had the same experiences but on different colored horses. The people talking with me all described their experiences as dreams, while mine felt real while I was dreaming. It didn’t feel like a dream in a dream.
So what in the world could all of this mean? I started researching the black horse from scripture while also looking at many different possible prophetic meanings. The black horse represents hyperinflation, famine, economic crisis and delay. The rider in the bible that is on the black horse has the measuring balance and scale, which is related to food shortages. The crazy thing is, that I have been having this feeling for a while that there would be food shortages because as corruption, chemicals, pesticides, parasites and many other harmful things are being found in our food, the healthy non-harmful food is being limited by outside sources.
The storm in the dream was close and could be seen. I was able to dodge it, praise the Lord. I did feel like throughout this dream that I was able to get away and avoid the troubles that were all around me. One of the prophetic meanings of riding a horse says its a place of going up into a higher realm, a higher level of influence, power and increase. An opportunity to obtain wealth and a healthy lifestyle. That is all very interesting in light of the health and food crisis.
The Southlake part was odd to me because that is a city that is very prosperous and established. But when I broke apart the two words I found that “south” can prophetically mean “Egypt, the wilderness, and a geopolitical power”. “Lake” can refer to the Lake of fire, final judgement, or get this, “REMOVAL OF EVIL!”
The only other horse color that I remember from the dream was definitely, white. The white horse represents the power of God! God is on our side, the return of Jesus Christ, and the white horse is patrolling the earth while it judges and wages war on our behalf!
This all feels very significant to me. I know the Lord is speaking and He is showing me we WILL CONQUER these things because HE CONQUERED IT ALL for us. He is in us, so there for we have the potential to conquer as well. But the Church (Body of Christ, Believers, Christians, the Ecclesia) we must RISE UP and PRAY! We must start hosting daily prayer for the nations and for victory over this economic crisis, food issue and potential shortages. I do believe God is working behind the scene to remove evil, but we can’t sit back and talk about everything that the enemy is doing… we must stand in agreement with what God is doing. It’s simply said in Romans 4:17 – “call those things which be not as though they were”. We create the shift with our words and what we agree with. Body of Christ, wake up and take dominion and occupy until He comes!!!! Resist the enemy and he will flee and we will conquer.
